Sunday Movie Matinee

On the last Sunday of the month at Palm Lake Care, 149 Hogg Street, Gate 2. We have been offered the use of the fabulous theatre at the care facility, thanks to our connections with Medina, to screen a French film, once a month. Again this is a FREE opportunity to practise your French by watching and listening to a French film (with English subtitles). The choice of film depends, to some extent, on the audience present as we don't want to repeat any of our recent choices at The Strand Cinema.. So far our attendees have enjoyed recent classics such as La Famille Bélier, Intouchables, Bienvenue chez Les Ch'tis, Ensemble c'est tout and Les Choristes. There are plenty more DVDs to choose from the AFT's vast collection and my own personal collection.
