Required resources:  BBC Talk French 1 textbook/CD set.  Available for purchase from the AFT.  We aim to complete the course at the end of 12 hours of classes, plus additional study at home.

Upper Intermediate B2

Intermediate B1/B2 Composite

8 WEEK TERM COURSE
This class is a “composite class” of those who have started or completed the elementary levels and those who have been enrolled in the Upper intermediate (B2) level this year. The Intermediate level did not have enough enrolments last term, but we will cater for those who missed out in this combined class as well as continuing to extend those who continued into B2 with Suellen. Suellen will adapt the course in response to the enrolments and she intends to cater better to their needs without being tied to the Cosmopolite Textbook.

Each class will be based on a theme related to French society, cultural practices and politics. Lesson content will be based on material in the textbook as well as external resources. This course aims to further consolidate comprehension and communication skills in more advanced French through discussion, reading and listening activities.

Required resources: Resources will be supplied for each lesson (and there may be a small surcharge to cover resources, rather than a textbook).
Pace: 1.5 hours per week for 8 weeks
