On Sunday 16 July, the Toowoomba Motel & Events Centre on Burnage Street was transformed into a French-inspired affair decked with red, white and blue, and the smells of delicious French cuisine in the air to celebrate Bastille Day.
East Street Kitchen (who was celebrating their first year anniversary) concocted a delicious three-course meal for enthusiastic guests, and you can view the menu in the photo gallery below. Entertainment included quizzes, sing-along and mesmerising accordion music by talented duo Rubatuba (who was also playing at the Brisbane French Festival this year). Thanks to all of you who joined us again this year to share French culture, and congratulations to all raffle winners. A l'année prochaine (see you again next year) !
