Complete beginner? Welcome! No prior assessment needed. You can enrol in our French for Travellers course. This course is a beginner course
ideal for anyone wanting to start their journey of learning the French language or planning to travel to a French speaking country. It is
offered over two terms : part 1 in term 3 2022 and part 2 in term 4 2022. Students will learn to introduce themselves and their friends and
family, talk about where they come from, ask basic questions, and order drinks in a café.

A1 - Beginner A1.1
Already have some basic knowledge of the French language and you're ready to learn more, then Beginner A1.1 will help you on your journey. Students will continue their study of this belle langue and will learn how to make enquiries and communicate in a range of situations, such as the bank, the train station and the pharmacy. You will learn how to make plans for the future and learn about cultural and historical aspects of France. Students will put their learnings into practice through conversation, regular writing and homework.

A2 - Elementary A2.1
This course is for students who have completed level A1 or placement test. With a focus on daily life, this course will teach you to communicate about your routine, chat about your work, organise outings in French and accept or refuse someone else's invitation. Students will also learn some geographical, cultural and historical aspects of France and French life. Students will put their learnings into practice through conversation, regular writing and homework.

B1 - Intermediate B1.2
This course is for students who have completed level A2 and have begun their learning at the intermediate level. Students will expand their
knowledge of the cultural aspects of France, while gaining a deeper understanding of French grammar and vocabulary. Students will put their
learnings into practice through conversation, regular writing, homework and role plays.
